For the entirety of its first century of service, Intermountain has remained true to its founder’s call when establishing the agency:
“Under God, brethren, we cannot continue to allow the suffering of children to go unchallenged.”
Today, Intermountain utilizes a robust Chaplain’s program to help nurture and cultivate children’s faith. Through weekly fellowship, small group study, individual mentoring, and many fun activities, Intermountain places great emphasis on allowing children to learn of God’s unconditional and sacrificial love for them while remaining sensitive to each child’s individual faith background.
Intermountain’s chaplain is a leader in the national conversation around trauma-informed ministry, and integrates the best practices from all around the United States into his work with our children in residence.
